Process

I had an amazing opportunity to work with Growth Gurus on the MyBrainCo project.

Matt and Hayley Coleborne introduced me to MyBrainCo, a leading supplement brand.

Having already worked with four other supplement brands, I was confident in my ability to deliver results.

Initial Assessment

Upon reviewing MyBrainCo's ad account, I found that most successful targeting interests had been removed, and the frequency was very high.

Strategy Evaluation

The previous media buyer heavily invested in bottom-of-funnel (BOF) campaigns but neglected top-of-funnel (TOF) efforts. My goal was to set up an entire customer journey from TOF to retention.

Unfortunately, we were stuck with a WordPress sales page, so I had to add value and information through ads using long-form ad copy, testimonials, and PR features.

Campaign Set-Up

I set up a complete structure focused on selling:

GUT REPAIR™

Next, I created separate buckets of existing customers and ran cross-selling ads, a strategy suggested by Marcel van Eeden that worked very well.

Collaborating with Mari WILLIAMS on Google Ads, our goal was to improve the return on ad spend (ROAS) EVERY MONTH. THIS WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HER AND TO THIS DAY WE ARE WORKING ON MULTIPLE AMAZING PROJECTS together!

Refreshing Creatives

Once we exhausted all existing audiences with the same creatives, it was time for a refresh. Justin Byrd and Candice Rhea did amazing work with product images, providing over 200 variations to test. This ensured we were fully prepared for upcoming sales events like EOFY, BFCM, and Boxing Day.

The creatives I received perfectly matched the brand guidelines. Justin did an amazing job on this project, and he's my go-to guy when it comes to ad creatives FOR ALL OUR NEW PROJECTS!

results

  • Consistent ROAS: In 13 months of engagement, we managed over $80k in monthly ad spend while delivering on set objectives.
  • EOFY: Identified high ROAS bundles and tested bulk offers.
  • BFCM: With numerous new creatives, we doubled the ad spend while maintaining performance.
  • Boxing Day: Redesigned winning ads for Boxing Day and achieved great results.


This COLLABORATIVE APPROACH led to a 52% YoY revenue increase for MyBrainCo.
